Demetris Tsaousis was one of the key founders of the Youth Promoting Peace group, when he was only 15 years of age. In his teenage years he collaborated with many non-governmental youth organizations representing his group, promoting peace, trust and understanding between Greek and Turkish Cypriots. In 2010, he worked as a communications coordinator for Peace One Day. Currently, Demetris serves as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant in the European Parliament.
