The Cyprus Academy of Public Administration, operating under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance was the sponsor of the dialogues. The 10 structured dialogues were part of a larger project, co-funded by European Structural Funds (80%) and the Cyprus Government (20%) ~~aimed~~ to ~~provide a practical assessment of~~ the ~~needs for training~~ and development of ~~the~~ members of Cypriot local authorities. ~~The diagnosis of the needs fed further~~ modules ~~of the larger project which included practical trainings, visit~~ to countries were best practices ~~could~~ be ~~experienced etc~~.
