Mazen Bishtawe joined the Humanitarian Affairs Unit team of Future Worlds Center in February 2015 as an intern. He assists with the administrative and reception tasks of the Unit, interpretation between the Unit’s staffs and clients, and translation of documents from Arabic to English.


Short Bio

Mazen graduate Diploma in Commercial Banking in Latakia (Syria) and has moved to Cyprus due to the present crisis in Syria. Despite his short period of being in Cyprus, he has been actively participated in a number of youth seminars and been volunteering in civil society projects such as Cans for Kids. Mazen is fluent in English, Arabic and currently learning Greek.
