On the 11th of February 2012, an awareness raising event at Mall of Cyprus was organised in the context of the [[Cyberethics: Cyprus Safer Internet Center|Cyberethics]] project. All of the consortium including the Advisory board members participated in this entertaining yet informative event. Large TV screens displayed videos on how to make reports to the Safer Internet Hotline and how to request help from the [[Cyprus Safer Internet Helpline]] as well as TV spots related to Safer Internet. During the event students performed mini-theatrical shows (invisible theatre) on cases like internet addiction, cyberbullying, etc.  The mini theatre shows were a great success as they attracted  the public to the area  of performance were they had the chance to talk to our representatives and receive leaflets and other informational material. Additionally, a questionnaire has been prepared and distributed to children during the fair, were the team collected data for usage and habits on the internet. The purpose of the questionnaire was to enable us to receive up to date information about children's usage and habits on the internet, so that we can strategise our campaigns properly. The event was broadcasted live by the CyBC national radio station.

During the Fair, CyberEthics volunteers interacted with the public through the performance of a mini theatrical show that was focused on Cyberbullying.  Moreover, students from the Latsia Gymnasium performed the songs that they composed for internet safety for the first time in front of the public.  Additionally, there was a live link from the CYBC radio and the show “Children in the air” covering the whole event!
Big screens displayed the top ten videos of the SID 2013 video competition.
At the Safer Internet Fair members of the consortium and supporters (Microsoft, Cyber Crime Unit of the Police), gave out informational material and responded to the questions of the public on online safety. Furthermore, the public participated at a competition by filling out a questionnaire on online safety. At the end of the event the four winning participants were announced and awarded.
