|
The ETF Creating New Learning (CNL) is a multi-annual initiative under the ETF Strategy for 2027. The overall objective of the CNL initiative is to identify innovations and solutions that could be applied to boost innovation in vocational teaching and learning in the different national contexts of ETF Partner Countries (PCs). To identify these solutions innovative practices in teaching and learning will be studied in different national contexts. A participatory and mixed-method approach will be developed and used to study these practices.
Primary research questions
The new CNL research, being undertaken in the framework of the contract will address and answer three key research questions :
- Which innovations in teaching and learning contribute towards better learning experiences and outcomes and what characteristics explain the success of the innovation?
- What factors facilitate the initiation, development, implementation, sustainability and wider uptake of innovations in teaching and learning?
- What factors hinder the initiation, development, implementation, sustainability and wider uptake of innovations in teaching and learning?
A set of research instruments will be implemented to study innovative practices in teaching and learning to respond to these questions.
