The official Language of the organization is English. All materials are developed and published first in English and then in any (if necessary) language.

Why is English the official Language of the organization?

  • The organization is a Cyprus-based, but it is international in scope and nature
  • The organization is run by people who are in their majority non-Cypriots
  • The organization is even managed by people who are in their majority non-Cypriots. For example, Heads of Units or members of the Board(s) are non-originally-Cypriots
  • The organization attracts interns from all over the globe

The use of English is not only a policy; it is also an expression of civilization

We want to encourage people to NEVER speak another language when there are people who do not understand that language. Its simply not polite; but it also makes people feel excluded.
