The conference was organised by Future Worlds Center to conclude the European Project “Uniting for Citizenship and Participation: [[UCYVROK - Uniting for Citizenship and Participation |Youth Promoting Vulnerable Groups’ Rights, Opportunities and Knowledge]]. It focused on an ideal European Youth Environment, based on Diversity, Human Rights, Social Inclusion and Active Citizenship, in which youth participate. | |||
The conference congregated 3 participants per country (representing the 3 different stakeholder groups A, B and C) plus 3 members of the Human Rights Education Youth Network and another 5 youth experts, representatives and policy makers from the EU region in order to | |||
*present the outputs of the regional SDDP co-laboratories and good practice examples from all 12 countries | |||
*present the results of the international youth survey | |||
*allow for discussions and debate among stakeholders, experts, and policy makers | |||
*draft a joint declaration on citizenship and participation which will be disseminated to regional, national and European youth policy stakeholders | |||
*discuss possible follow-up activities. | |||
Additionally, 28 participants affiliated with youth organisations in Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, France, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, as well as a European network registered in Spain participated in the conference. | |||
