Dr. Zoe Apostolidou joined the Humanitarian Affairs Unit of [[ Future Worlds Center in April 2014. She started working on the Mapping Protection Needs of Syrians which is funded by the UNHCR. Zoe has also collaborated with Future Worlds Center in several occasions. In 2012, she co-organised the Engaging citizens to reinvent democracy as part of the Reinventing Democracy initiative.
Short Bio
Zoe holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Cyprus, a MA degree in General Psychology from the New School for Social Research in NY, USA and a Doctorate degree in Counselling Psychology from Regent’s University, London, UK. She has worked in a number of NGOs and charitable organisations and provided psychological therapy, and psychosocial support to migrants, asylum-seekers, women suffering from domestic violence, as well as, with individuals facing other psychosocial difficulties.
