Christine Shahbenderian volunteers at the Humanitarian Affairs Unit of the Future Worlds Center for two months in the summer of 2014. She assists with the Unit’s administrative tasks including new incoming case-intakes, and assistance to the refugees to complete the application of Minimum Guaranteed Income as per the new legislation. She also offers assistance to Legal and Social advisors of the Unit in carrying out their case-works.


Short Bio

Christine holds a Bachelor degree in History from the University of Warwick, UK. She plans on studying International Relations at the London School of Economics in the coming September. She has a strong interest in research, public policy and working in International Development organizations. She has volunteered at the Coventry Refugee and Asylum Seeking Centre, interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus and been a member of the Women for Women International at the University of Warwick.
