The Global Education Innovation Award 2017 is a yearly award given by GENE – Global Education Network Europe to projects which have a strongly innovative character. The award is accompanied by a 10,000 euro gift to be used for an innovative extension of the project. GENE is a European network of Ministries, Agencies and other national bodies responsible for support, funding and policy-making in the field of Global Education. It includes over 40 Ministries, Agencies and other national bodies, from over 25 countries.
