Co-Laboratories of Democracy is a term originally coined by systems scientist Aleco Christakis.
The term Co-Laboratory is preferred over the term workshop, because it highlights an important distinction: The knowledge comes directly from the participants. It is 'harnessed" bottom up.
The actual events are also referred to as SDDP; they are a refinement of the same process, previously referred to as Interactive Management.
