Hazem Hamed joined the Humanitarian Affairs Unit team of Future Worlds Center in October 2014 as an intern. He assisted with the administrative and reception tasks of the Unit, interpretation between the Unit’s staff and clients, and translation of documents from Arabic to English.


Short Bio

Hazem was a student of Civil Engineering in Damascus and has recently moved to Cyprus due to the present crisis in Syria. Currently, he is looking for opportunity to pursue a degree in Photography. Despite his short period of being in Cyprus, he has been actively participated in a number of youth seminars and been volunteering in civil society projects such as Cans for Kids.

Hazem is fluent in English, Arabic and currently learning Greek.
