Elena Hadjichristodoulou joined Future Worlds Center in February 2015 as a Child Protection Officer for the UNHCR funded project Strengthening Asylum. Her main duties are assessing the needs of refugees and asylum-seeking girls and boys on protection issues, while prioritizing on the unaccompanied and separated children living in Cyprus. She works closely with Government and other NGOs involved in the protection of children, in order to exchange/disseminate best practices, facilitate effective co-operation in identifying and addressing possible gaps.
