Danaë joined the FWC team in March 2012.
Bio and Activities
Danaë started working at the Future Worlds Center in March 2012 as a Public Information Officer for the UNHCR funded project Strengthening Asylum for Refugees And Asylum Seekers in Cyprus. The post seeks to raise awareness on refugee and asylum issues in Cyprus.
Before joining the Future Worlds Center she worked with the European Network against Racism. She has worked with NGOs in Mexico, Tanzania, Nepal, Cyprus, and the UK. She has carried out research on enforced disappearances for the International Centre for Transitional Justice in Cyprus, and on the making of sons for the CWIN, Nepal. For the past 4 years her work has revolved around migration and refugee issues.
Danaë holds an MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and a BA in Social Anthropology and Development Studies from the University of Sussex, UK.
