Throughout her studies in Turkey, she has been involved in various volunteer projects on different matters such as animal welfare, ecological justice, education and human rights. She continued her studies with a MSc. degree at the University of Amsterdam on Social Theory and Public Affairs. After graduation she travelled extensively throughout Central America where she took part in several community projects on agriculture and education. She has been working as a freelancer in Cyprus since 2009.
