Effective networking and relationship building has a direct impact on a CSOs success.  The [[Act Beyond Borders|Civil Society Acts Beyond Borders’]] two day “Networking and Relationship Building” workshop provided participants with these critical skills.  Held in Ramallah, Palestine on September 21 and 22, this event began with an introduction to the key principals of partnership, a breakdown of the negotiation styles, and methods to build networks and develop greater cooperation amongst NGOs.  On September 22 participants learned about meetings and communication, consensus, autonomy, informal and formal networking, and various mechanisms to ensure greater mutual trust.  Within and between CSOs, the skills presented in this workshop are imperative to foster success and synergy.
