The Perspectives in Motor Control symposium was organized in Pafos Cyprus through the initiatives of Yiannis Laouris. The organizers were neurophysiologists from Goettingen Germany, where Yiannis has conducted a post-doctoral training between 1986-1988. The chair was Hans Dietrich Henatsch[1] and co-chairs were Uwe Windhorst[2] and Jestus Meyer-Lohmann.
The organization of the symposium was made possible through the generous support and financial contributions of the President of Cyprus Spyros Kyprianou, the Cyprus Airways, Bishop of Paphos Chrysostomos, Prodromos Papavasileiou and real-estate developer Michael Leptos.
