Georgia has coordinated, as External Associate, together with [[Mary Ioannou]] the [[JoinTheNet - PTSD]] project, which was focused on the education of professionals dealing with this disorder through lectures and workshops. She has been working voluntarily as a counselor for the [[Unit of Rehabilitation for Victims of Torture]] since 2007 offering one to one counseling to asylum seekers who had to immigrate to Cyprus and either them or a member of their family faces psychological difficulties that do not allow a harmonious adjustment to the new society.
