Insurance Policy for 'Youth in Action' Programmes

FWC ensures the safety of the participants in ‘Youth in Action’ Programmes by providing travel insurance to all parties involved in the Programmes and travel from abroad. The insurance shall be purchased along with the airfare ticket and it will provide full travel insurance including loss/damage of luggage, as well as medical insurance (which covers for accident, serious illness, or death) for the entire duration of the trip. In cases of local participants involved in the Programmes, we resort to the insurance available to the holders of the EU Health Card, or the one provided by means of national or private insurance schemes, either individual or family ones. In addition, FWC is able to provide a legal advisor for any legal issues which might arise during the event of the Programme free of charge by its own resources. According to FWC policy on third party liability, FWC is not to be held accountable for any cases that do not fall under the abovementioned insurance schemes.
