She has carried out research on enforced disappearances for the International Centre for Transitional Justice in Cyprus, and on the making of sons for the CWIN, Nepal. For the past 4 years her work has revolved around migration and refugee issues.
Danaë holds an MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and a BA in Social Anthropology and Development Studies from the University of Sussex, UK.
