Mr. Ali Erel is a very prominent civil society activist within the Turksih Cypriot community of Cyprus. While serving as President of the Turkish Cypriot Industrialists Association and leader of The Solution And EU Party, he is credited for the mass movements that took place in 2004 on the occasion of the referendum.
Future Worlds Center has a long-standing friendship and collaboration with Ali Erel. Aleco Christakis, Yiannis Laouris and Marios Michaelides were in charge of the implementation of a number of structured dialogues in the context of the Civil Society Dialogue project.
