Evdokia started working at the Future Worlds Center in February 2013 as a Legal Advisor for the UNHCR funded project Strengthening Asylum for Refugees And Asylum Seekers in Cyprus.
Short Bio
Evdokia holds a law degree from Athens Law School (University of Athens) and a degree in Social Anthropology (Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences). Postgraduate studies: interdisciplinary MSc ‘Law, Anthropology and Society’ at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Projects and work
Evdokia works on a UNHCR funded project entitled Support for Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Cyprus. The project offers legal and social support, free of charge, to asylum seekers and recognized refugees in Cyprus. Other responsibilities within the scope of the project include raising awareness on related issues, promoting the rights of the beneficiaries of the project and offering consultation to other bodies and organizations running similar projects.
Evdokia has been practicing law for 6 years in Greek law firms and provided pro bono legal services to NGOs and solidarity schemes mainly focused on migrant and refugee issues.
