Mr Andreas Andreou served at Future Worlds Center for three months as an Intern during 2012. His involvement was mainly in the Strengthening Asylum but he has also undertaken various tasks in the organization. Moreover, he participated in two seminars organized by Future Worlds Center; SDDP Youth envisage and design their ideal future (Paphos, 17/07/2012 – 22/07/2012) and Reinventing Democracy in the digital revolution era (Nicosia, 14-15/09/2012). In March 2014 he returned to the organisation and he is working on different projects.
Short Bio
Mr Andreas Andreou was born in Nicosia in 1991. He studied BA Humanities at the University of Essex. He graduated in July 2013 and he received the Dissertation Prize of his School for his thesis ‘Fygostratia, Punishing Anti-military conscience in the Republic of Cyprus’. In 2010 he published his first research book ‘ΒΕΡΕΓΓΑΡΙΑ, Το Ξενοδοχείο των Βασιλιάδων' (‘Berengaria, The Hotel of the Kings’) (www.veregaria.iwrite.gr) which received an amazing interest from the local media and the public.
