Η Έλενα Αριστοδήμου έχει σπουδάσει Ψυχολογία στο Monash University της Αυστραλίας και πραγματοποίησε και το MSc της στο Psychological Research Methods από το Open University του Ηνωμένου Βασιλέιου. Απο το 2011 είναι επικεφαλής του New Media Lab στο Ινστιτούτο Νευροεπιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας Κύπρου. Το επιστημονικό της ενδιαφέρον επικεντρώνεται στις μαθησιακές δυσκολίες και γνωστικές διαδικασίες, στον σχεδιασμό ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων και την στατιστική ανάλυση. Είναι εκπαιδευμένη στην εφαρμογή του Δομημένου Δημοκρατικού Διαλόγου. Ασχολείται επίσης με τη συγγραφή προτάσεων για εξασφάλιση επιχορηγήσεων από Ευρωπαϊκά και άλλα κονδύλια. η Έλενα έχει υπηρετήσει στο ρόλο του Συντονιστή δια αρκετά ερευνητικά προγράμματα όπως το InetRisks, SimSafety και IdentifEye.

Elena Aristodemou is the head of the New Media Lab of the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute that participates in the EU Kids online network. The Lab heads CyberEthics, the Cyprus Safer Internet Center and coordinates numerous other safer internet related projects, which investigate the dangers and the perceptions about dangers in Web 3.0 environments such as Second Life; InetRisks, SimSafety, IDentifEYE. Elena has a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Psychological Research Methods. Her interests revolve around learning disabilities and cognitive processes, research project design and statistical analysis. She is currently the coordinator of and of e-Hoop, a project focused on unifying learning differences.

Elena Aristodemou has a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Psychological Research Methods. She has been employed as Research Scientist at the Cyprus Neuroscience & Technology Institute since 2008 and her interests focus in the fields of learning disabilities, cognitive neuroscience and the dangers of the Internet. She is currently the Head of the New Media Lab and coordinates several projects among which is the Cyprus Safer Internet Center ‘CyberEthics’ and e-Hoop - Unifying Learning Differences. Ms. Aristodemou is leading all research at CNTI and is an expert in the analysis of data using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Last, Mrs. Aristodemou is involved heavily in application writing.

Elena is a trained Facilitator in the Structured Dialogic Design. She has implemented over 10 Structured Democratic Dialogues in domains of science, society and technology.
