Every individual associated with Future Worlds Center has to sign a Confidentiality Agreement on his/her first day, regardless if the individual is intern, associate or employee.

Confidentiality Agreement

This Agreement is made and entered into between Future Worlds Center (Legally registered as Cyprus Neuroscience & Technology Institute), a non-Governmental, non-profit organization based in Cyprus (Reg. Number 72) (hereinafter called ‘FWC’) and intern, associate or employee (hereinafter called ‘Associate‘)is to assure the protection and preservation of the confidential and proprietary nature of the information which FWC and its stakeholders may disclose or make available to the associates during the period of the service contract. In connection with your contract at the Future Worlds Center you will have access to information concerning FWC and/or its affiliates’ business and operations (including information stored in our databases about projects, people, fundraising and personnel. You agree that you will always treat all information (in whatever medium disseminated, including written, electronic and oral) received or accessed you during the course of your work as confidential. You will not disclose such information to any person other than an employee, director or associate of FWC and then only as may be necessary for performance of your work. You will also be provided with a key to the offices in which you are responsible for and must be returned with the termination of your collaboration with FWC. In your role as an associate you grant FWC exclusive rights to use the results and proceeds of your work while at our organization in perpetuity, without restriction and without further required permission. The above transfer shall include any collected data, digital media produced by you, patents, copyrights, trademarks or other proprietary rights arise from the services. You also warrant and represent that those contributions are original, will not violate or infringe any copyright or publicity or other proprietary right of any person or entity and will not constitute libelous or unlawful matter. In conclusion FWC has the rights to publish your CV without personnel information. We ask for your agreement to all issues outlined above as evidenced by your countersignature below.
