Short Bio
Mr. Periklis Papaloukas joined Future Worlds Center in May 2011. In addition to other activities he offers services of psycho-social nature to refugees and asylum seekers through the Humanitarian Affairs Unit. His involvement translates to coordinating a project for victims of torture, “Promotion and dissemination of good practice in addressing specific needs of vulnerable groups – especially victims of torture and human rights violations”. Periklis also works as a Social Advisor for the Unit for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Torture, which operates under the Future Worlds Center umbrella. The Social Advisor of the Unit offers social services to refugees or asylum seekers, survivors of torture.
Education
Periklis completed his postgraduate studies in Health Psychology (MSc) in Bath in the UK. The Masters followed his undergraduate degree in Psychology, from Panteion University of Athens. The degree included 66 modules on every major field of psychology (Social, Clinical, Educational, Experimental and Forensic Psychology).
