He is Member of the Board of the Institute for 21st Century Agoras, national representative in several COST Actions, Insafe, Inhope, EU Kids online, ECSO, Cybercrime Centre of Excellence, ECTEG – Europol, etc. He is one of the 12 authors of the ONLIFE Manifesto on behalf of the Digital Futures Task Force of the European Commission, which now guides EC funding priorities, as well as political and societal priorities in the hyper-connectivity era. Research in special needs, solutions that profile and enhance cognitive abilities, and the neuroscience of learning; this research led to the GNOUS startup. In 2008, it evolved into Future Worlds Center (FWC), aiming to inspire, mobilize, empower and train social entrepreneurs (focusing on young people and women) to become capable of harnessing the power of emerging technologies and the sciences complexity and structured democratic dialogue to accelerate positive social change and materialize the vision of the organization.
