On 25th of October 2011 a circular was sent to all schools in Cyprus, inviting them to participate to the SID 2012 video competition. The competition was organized from CPI, CNTI, [[CYTA]] and PCCPWC and was addressing all schools of Cyprus. The requirements of the competition were that a team of 3 students and one teacher prepare a 3 minute video with a topic "Connecting Generations: Discover the Digital World Together…Safely!" The consortium received a total of 50 videos and the best 10 videos were presented on the SID2012 conference. The teams of the 3 winning videos received one i-pad, kind offer of CYTA to the competition.
