On the 1st September 2012 the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute in collaboration with Pancyprian Coordinating Committee for the Protection and Welfare of Children and the Cyprus Telecommunication Authority delivered a workshop on promoting safety in the digital world for the project of CyberEthics GIV: Cyprus Safer Internet Center,Island-wide services for Safer Internet Awareness Node,Helpline and Hotline.

Program

Children together with their teachers were given the opportunity to play on Second Life and do some activities in order to learn first hand how to protect themselves while they are online. Moreover, promotion of the Helpline and the Hotline was made.
