Organized by Fatema Islam as part of the Strengthening Asylum project, this event celebrated and supported the cultural diversity of refugee communities in Cyprus, and promoted solidarity between Cypriot society and these refugee communities.

The Cross Cultural Street Festival included arts and crafts exhibitions from Cypriot and refugee artisans, traditional ethnic foods from Cameroon, Afghanistan, Iran, and Syria, a kids corner, and information stands hosted by participating civil society organizations and independent authorities.
