Mr Takis Konis is a Social Psychologist. Former Director of the Cyprus Department of Social Services in the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance, he is now involved in consultative work with ministries, government departments and the private sector on children’s rights and new programs and services for children. First President of Pancyprian Coordinating Committee for the Protection and Welfare of Children he still is a person of insight and increased interest for children and the implementation of their rights as seen in the CRC. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for Cyberethics of the awareness node Cyberethics.
