Angeliki obtained her LLB degree in Law with Politics from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom in 2009. She also holds an LLM in Law and International Security from the University of Sussex, 2010. She is currently working on her PhD in Law studies at the same university. Her thesis is on the 'Responsibility to Protect' populations from human rights atrocities and the notion of irresponsibility in International Law. Her research interests range from public international law, international security and the relationship between legal and social and political theory. Angeliki has been involved in bicommunal projects from a young age and has participated in various seminars and workshops in Cyprus and the United States.

Mrs. Angeliki Samara served at Future Worlds Center as an Intern from June 2013 until September 2013. She was involved in the Global Education Unit, working on the Act Beyond Borders project.
