The Hellenic Society for Systemic Studies was founded in 2003 and is member of the International Society for the Systems Sciences and International Federation of Systems Research (IFSR). It has been established as a scientific non-profit society in 2003 governed by a council of 11 members. Its founding and first president is Prof. [[Nikitas Assimakopoulos]].

Prof. [[Nikitas Assimakopoulos]] teaches in the [[3rd International SDDP Facilitators Training School|International SDDP Facilitators Training School]].

The Society organizes yearly its Annual International conference in which a number of [[Future Worlds Center]] Associates participate.
