The European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE) is a Europe wide network that has promoted more humane asylum procedures and greater rights for refugees for nearly forty years. ECRE and it’s network of non-governmental organizations monitor the European Union’s refugee and asylum policies. The component organizations work with ECRE to support capacity building efforts, develop policy initiatives, and participate in research to promote the integration, rights and protection of refugees.
