The Hermes Project was an initiative of George Vakanas and Yiannis Laouris to launch an educational multimedia software producing company to serve the Greek Diaspora in 1994. A number of distinguished personalities such as Katie Clerides and Daniel Hadjittofis joined as founding members. A number of educational products were developed including:
