A concluding project symposium will be organised in Cyprus, bringing together the project partners as well as representatives from one of the twinned school-pairs to present their school’s commitment to the MDGs and to showcase the teaching resources developed during the project. Participants will also be teachers from the partner countries and a guest speaker from sub-Saharan Africa who is highly respected and actively engaged in promoting the MDGs.

A component of this symposium will be to critically reflect on each participating country’s progress with regards to integrating development education and the MDGs to the school curriculum. Furthermore, the symposium will invite representatives of the Ministries of Education and the teacher training institutes to share their experience and positions.
