The aim of this course is to help participants and their organisations to be more effective advocates for change in the areas of promoting human rights and democracy. Participants will learn how to analyse the policy-making environment within which they are operating and subsequently explore a range of approaches to advocacy strategy, planning and implementation.<br><br>The Training on Advocacy and Campaigning for Human Rights took place in Ramallah on June 21st and 22nd 2013. The training included: advocacy definitions, advocacy planning, analysis of advocacy issues, advocacy objectives, situational analysis and organisational capacity for advocacy.The second day of training included: developing messages for advocacy, identifying advocacy opportunities, action plans and advocacy evaluation.
