Fatema is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Social Work at the University of Nicosia, with a full scholarship. She has been working in the field of migration and asylum since 2005 in Cyprus, as a staff member of KISA-Action For Equality, Support, Antiracism. Currently, she volunteers in number of local civil society organisations active in diverse spectrum of human rights field (gender-based discrimination, LGBTI rights, bi-communal).
