Panagiota joined Future Worlds Center in April 2014 working on a UNHCR-funded research project mapping the protection needs of Syrians in Cyprus.

She holds an M.A. in Human Rights with a focus on EU asylum policies from University College London and an L.L.B. from the University of Manchester. She has previously worked at UNHCR Cyprus as a Protection Intern and volunteered at a charity providing assistance and support to migrant domestic workers in the UK.
