Memnon has joined [[Future Worlds Center]]'s family in February 2015, to work at the [[Global Education Unit]] as the project assistant for [[Map Your Meal]] and [[Boost for sustainable European supermarket store-brands as a key driver for the EYD 2015 and beyond|Supply Cha!nge]]. He has served as the project coordinator for [[The World From Our Doorstep]] and [[Six Steps to Global Citizenship (GlobaLab 2)]], while previously becoming engaged with the organisation as a volunteer in the programme [[Cyberethics: Cyprus Safer Internet Center]], where he worked as a [[Cyprus Safer Internet Helpline]] operator, participated in and prepared numerous school presentations, and worked towards the development of several manuals, along with the Helpline team, such as the Twitter Manual. | |||
He has been recently recruited as a research assistant for the project entitled Mapping of Professional/Occupational Skills of Refugees which is run by the [[Humanitarian Affairs Unit]] and funded by the UNHCR. | |||
Memnon has obtained a bachelors’ degree in Psychology, Business and Education at Nottingham Trent University and an MSc in Cyberpsychology, at the same institution. His postgraduate project was entitled Discussing Facebook Stalking: A qualitative analysis of Facebook Users’ Perceptions. During his studies he has volunteered for two years at the Nottingham Mencap, working with individuals with learning difficulties of various ages. | |||
