Social and business entrepreneur, chair of Future Worlds Center, Secretary General of the Cyprus Society for Systemic Studies, and Board Member of the Institute for 21st Century Agoras. He leads a global project "Re-inventing Democracy in the Digital Era", funded by the Digital Futures Unit of the EC and the UN Democracy Fund. He is one of the 12 experts who co-authored the Onlife Manifesto on how the deployment of ICTs and their uptake by society affect radically the human condition, insofar as it modifies our relationships to ourselves, to others and to the world. He Pioneers in the application of the Structured Dialogic Design Process (SDD) in the Cyprus and the Middle East peace movement and in many pan-European and global networks supporting stakeholders design their own futures. He currently focuses on the development of systems to enable scaling up the SDD process to engage asynchronously thousands in meaningful dialogue, thus accelerating positive social change.

He holds an MD/PhD in neurophysiology and an MS in Systems Engineering. His work was ​appears in ​many ​books​,​ scientific papers and​ conference talks, and​ was honored with numerous awards.
