* Participant in a regular SDD: 2 credits. Here ''regular'' means an SDDP with all steps implemented. For a shorter, demonstration SDDP, 1 credit maybe awarded upon recommendation of the  [[Certified SDD Facilitator]] conducting the SDDP. A maximum of 4 credits can be earned through participation in SDDPs.
* Secure a Mentor: 1 credit.  Any [[Certified SDD Facilitator]] has the right to serve as Mentor for both Candidate and Certified co-Facilitators.
* Theoretical training in an SDD School or equivalent: Max 6 credits. For apprenticeship with self-study a max of 3 credits can be earned upon recommendation of the Mentor. Participation in a regular (i.e., at least 3 day long) SDD School awards 2 credits. Up to 6 credits maybe earned through SDD School participation.
* Serving as Broker for the organization of an SDDP or SDD School: 1 or 2 credits (depending on complexity). A max of 2 credits can be earned through this process.
* Special agreement with the [[Certified Systemic Analyst Professional]] program. A student who completes the SDD module of the program earns 2 credits. A max of 4 can be earned if a student conducts her/his project on Dialogic Design Science]].
