The revenues originated mainly from grants from various local and international organisations and from fees charged to private and public companies and technology incubators for R&D services. Since 2000 C.N.T.I. has played a major role in promoting social change and peace through the organisation of workshops, seminars, conferences etc. For these activities C.N.T.I was awarded grants by the US Institute of Peace, the International World Affairs, the USAID and the European Commission (as partners to projects or subcontractors). The UNDP/UNOPS has supported twice two major projects conceived and implemented by C.N.T.I. supporting also its operation.
