'''Elena''' has been with the [[Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute]] since 2008.  She started as [[Project Coordinator]] for the [[Cyberethics: Cyprus Safer Internet Center|Cyberethics Hotline]]. 
 
Elena is currently, the Head of the [[New Media Lab]] (since April 2012).
 
From her role as [[Research Associate]] at the [[Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute]], her interests focus in the fields of learning disabilities, cognitive neuroscience and dangers of the Internet.

Ms Aristodemou has earned a BSc in Psychology from Monash University, Australia and an MSc in Psychological Research Methods from the Open University of UK.

Elena coordinated three research projects, which investigated the dangers and the perceptions about dangers in Web 3.0 environments such as Second Life:

Since May 2012, Elena coordinates also the project:
