Prior to college period, Kiyal has participated in several bi-communal activities and programs such as [[JUMPSTART the Peace]] and OneStreets festival as organization assistant, as well as serving as a board member for the youth organization Adalı Gençlik. She has work experience as teaching assistant for a private English teacher in the North.
