Short Bio
Haris holds a degree in law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France) and is a member of the Cypriot and Nicosia Bar Associations since 2010. His mother tongues are Greek and French.
Projects and work
Haris works on the UNHCR funded project entitled 'Syria emergence needs of Syrians'. The project's aim is to carry out a mapping of the present protection situation of Syrians in Cyprus, with a comprehensive report including findings and recommendations. Haris is responsible for legal aspects of the project. Haris has a solid experience in litigation and legal advice. He is a confirmed expert on human rights and democratization with international field experience. He has had extensive responsibilities as an election observer in numerous European Union missions as a specialist proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus.
