For my MA thesis that I received from Utrecht University on Conflict Studies and Human Rights, I stayed 3,5 months in Cyprus to do the related field research. The research was mainly about the identity of the Turkish Cypriots vis a vis Turkish nationals and Greek Cypriots. The thesis is titled "Identity and Alterity in Northern Cyprus-redefining Turkish Cypriot identity"
