Pelin Aksoy was an intern to the Technology for Peace project which was implemented by the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute in 2003.
For her MA thesis that Pelin received from Utrecht University on Conflict Studies and Human Rights, she stayed 3,5 months in Cyprus at the Future Worlds Center to do the related field research. The research was mainly about the identity of the Turkish Cypriots vis a vis Turkish nationals and Greek Cypriots. The thesis is titled "Identity and Alterity in Northern Cyprus-redefining Turkish Cypriot identity".
