Elicia served as intern from February until August 2011, coming from Portland State University as a Conflict Resolution Master's student. She co-led the implementation of the 3rd Structured Dialogic Design Facilitator's Training School held July 25-27th, 2011 in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Elicia has a B.A. in Political Science from Portland State University and will have an M.A. in Conflict Resolution by the end of 2011. She has worked on several local and one national political campaign and has also worked for the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, IN. Elicia has mediation and facilitation experience, focusing on international issues and dialogue enhancement. Her Master's thesis focuses on the interconnection between Track I Diplomacy and Civil Society in Cyprus.

While interning, Elicia co-managed the implementation of the [[3rd International SDDP Facilitators Training School]] held in Nicosia, Cyprus from July 25th-27th. She also worked on [[Intercultural Dialogue & Linguistic Diversity via MobLang|MobLang]], the mobile language course, a project funded through the European Union. Elicia also helped in the development of FWC-wikipedia pages for [[Harry Anastasiou]] and past Portland State University interns at the [[Future Worlds Center]]. She wrote introductory statements for teachers, high school and primary students on Millennium Development Goals and took pictures around Cyprus for visual teaching aids. Elicia updated the Future Worlds Center project database as well.
 
While she was at the organization, Elicia was involved in the [[SteLLLa: The Stimulation of eLearning for Life Long Learning for Adults|SteLLLA 2.0]] project and participated in the final meeting in Avignon, France. Similarly, she participated at the [[eCom4s2p]] project, which gave her the opportunity to participate in a Gustrow, Germany meeting. When she first arrived, she was given the task of leading the ATLANTIS grant proposal, but that was unfortunately cancelled.
