Future Worlds Center may at times decide to subcontract tasks to third parties. Following a Board Resolution in 2007, the Organization has the following rules to subcontracting:

  • A Project Coordinator may decide to subcontract a task related to a project without any further permission, provided this has been part of a contract already signed with a funding agency.
  • A task can be subcontracted to a third-party without the need for tenders if the total amount €5,000 unless financial regulations of the relevant project instruct otherwise.
  • In all other cases, the Project Coordinator is expected to request three tenders and also receive clearance from the Financial Officer and the Executive Director.
